A boy was hungry and he asked his mother to give him a particular kind of food. The lovely mother had to go to the market to get the raw food because that special one was not at home. After buying it, she had to go to the kitchen to prepare the food. After preparing it, the food would be served. Between the time the boy asked and the time the food would be served, Patience would be needed. Without patience, the caring mother would be offended and she might be angry!

Beloved, after asking in accordance with the will of God,you need PATIENCE to obtain the blessings. Hebrew 10:36. God's time is the best. Every Good and perfect gift comes from God. In all things, give thanks to God.

What is the definition of Patience? What does patience mean? There are numerous definitions given by different people, even on Christian messages by the Preachers of the gospel.I agree that Patience (or forbearing) is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast.

Although most people consider patience to be a passive waiting or gentle tolerance, most of the Greek words translated “patience” in the New Testament are active, robust words. Consider, for example, Hebrews 12:1: “Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” (NKJV). Does one run a race by passively waiting for slow-pokes or gently tolerating cheaters? Certainly not! The word translated “patience” in this verse means “endurance.” A Christian runs the race patiently by persevering through difficulties. In the Bible, patience is persevering towards a goal, enduring trials, or expectantly waiting for a promise to be fulfilled.
